On the Sea of Galilee it was already night, but the darkness deepened as clouds occluded the light from the stars of the firmament and fierce winds whipped across the sea. The Lord’s chosen disciples were not out doing things they shouldn’t have been. They weren’t out goofing off or being careless. In fact it was quite the opposite. They were dutifully doing exactly what the Lord had asked them to do and suddenly their very lives were in peril.

We each have been blessed with different talents and abilities. Success comes as we learn to cultivate and grow our talents. Genius is simply having the discipline to make continual use of those talents.

In this wonderful age of digital technology and rapid transportation the church is no longer being carried westward by covered wagons and handcarts. Instead it is more like a bullet train speeding, on an undeviating course, toward its final destination, to greet the Savior at the time of His second coming.
